Set in the beautiful surrounds of Pin Mill, Suffolk, an area of outstanding natural beauty, this one day colour/black and white digital photography course for compact 'point and shoot' or DSLR cameras, including a delicious lunch at the famous riverside pub the Butt and Oyster, teaches you the techniques of photography, digital imaging (Photoshop Elements/computer skills) and printing.

I found the whole day a wonderful experience. I learnt a great deal. Anthony spent a lot of time explaining everything, making it all very easy to understand. I have been photographing since I was 8, but never really fully understood about exposures etc., but I do now! Pin Mill is a truly wonderful place to visit, and the pub lunch was delicious. I came on the beginners course in May 2008 having no real knowledge of how to use my DSLR which I received as a Christmas present. After attending the course I found that I had a much better understanding of depth of field and aperture. A lot more thought goes into my photographs now and I love nothing better than just going off with my camera and seeing what I can create.
