Thai Foot Massage: This is just one part of the Thai health system of medicine. It aims to bring balance to the body's energies, via work on the reflex points of the feet and lower legs - up to the knees.

Thai foot massage is similar to reflexology in that it uses the same reflex points, but the difference is that these reflexes are stimulated with the hands and a wooden Thai acupressure tool.

Reflexes connect with specific areas of the body, and often are painful or tingly when the energies are unbalanced. The aim of the massage treatment is to bring the reflexes back to a state of balance, aiding the body to restore its equilibrium. Western medicine is now utilising these energies by acupuncture, and relieving many symptoms of imbalance. However, needles are not always necessary, and Thai massage may help restore balance.
