Our client is an ever evolving International firm based just outside of Norwich. They are now looking for a switched on and professional Business Development Manager to hit the ground running and move the business forward into 2010!
What does the role involve?
* To increase and maximise sales and profits on large accounts
* Manage projects from cradle to grave
* Liaise with senior level management and other departments within the organisation on a daily basis
* Maintain and build rapport with clients and customers
* Making sure you are one step ahead of your competitors in the same industry and keeping abreast of the current market
* Extensive use of in-house systems and Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
* Travelling across the UK to meet and greet new or existing customers, so be prepared to stay overnight
What are we looking for in you?
* Being able to work on own initiative and within a team
* Can handle working to deadlines whilst under pressure but above all can deliver and present your projects / work to senior level management and new or existing clients or customers
* Drive, passion and confidence to make the business grow whilst looking for alternate ways to improve the business
* Excellent communication skills, as you will be liaising with an array of individuals on all levels and from all walks of life
* Professional approach towards your work and career
* Highly organised, as you don't want to miss the boat on any possible business deals or opportunities
* A Proven track record of successful and profitable business development
* Have a strong record of sales growth in a margin focused Business Development environment
