This significant government body requires a talented qualified accountant to form part of the finance senior management team and identify and undertake development opportunities for the finance department and the organisation in order to improve their services. 
About the Role
Based in Wymondham, Norfolk the Corporate Service Accountant will play a key role in the delivery of the Finance Department's strategic plan, particularly in relation to
*  Improving the quality of the products and services that the finance department delivers to its internal customers 
* Streamlining the finance department's processes so as to eliminate waste and to identify those activities that add value 
* Developing data analysis and reporting 
* Using data analysis in order to benchmark our performance
In addition you will assess and advise the Constabulary on all financial aspects of collaboration opportunities with external organisations, undertake value for money reviews in specific areas of the constabulary's budget in order to identify greater efficiencies and cost savings and plan, design and deliver financial training to non financial staff so as to raise financial awareness and capability throughout the constabulary. 
You will also ensure that the organisation complies with Financial Regulations and manage a small section to assist in the delivery of the above.
