5 Rhythms Dance is a simple movement practice created by Gabrielle Roth to release the dancer that lives in every body- no matter what shape, size, age, limitations, or experience. There are no set moves, it’s about returning to your body and enjoying life again. It’s relaxing, releasing and energising for mind, body and spirit.

About Ecstatic Dance Norfolk: We’re a Gabrielle Roth's Five Rhythms™ dancing peer group passionate to keep a regular dance going in Norwich. We organise ourselves through a yahoo group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ecstatic_dance_norfolk/) which you are welcome to join. To dance with the peer group we strongly recommended that you should work at least once with a Five Rhythms™ accredited teacher – but if you’re new to Five Rhythms, come on June 4th and have your first session with accredited teacher Tim Broughton. If you are unable to make this session, we also post news of other Five Rhythms™ events in Norfolk (or the region generally) via our yahoo group. There is also a Norwich Dance and Yoga Weekend planned for the 5th and 6th July 2008.
