Hi,

I’m a 22 year old professional looking for a new housemate. I moved into the house 2 months ago with a friend but he unfortunately has to move out. So I’m looking for someone to take over the remaining 4 months of the contract and hopefully stay longer as I’ve just settled in and feel really at home here!
The ideal moving in date would be around the 20th April (rent time) but I’m fairly flexible. I could speak to my current housemate about something earlier or up to a month later.
I’m easy going and tidy. Looking for a friendly, sociable atmosphere and the odd shared bottle of wine or beer. I’m interested in the usual kind of things… films, music, books, socialising, food and various sports (just getting back into the Grand Prix season).
The house is a modern terrace in NR1 4**. It’s a peaceful area within easy walking distance of riverside and the city centre (through the cathedral grounds).
We have on street permit parking and a nice low maintenance garden with lockable shed. Inside is a good sized kitchen (one of the things that attracted me to the house) and living room. There are three bedrooms… you’d have the choice of two (one single one double) each with built in wardrobe. The bathroom has a shower and bath with constant hot water and there’s an additional downstairs toilet. The rest of the house is furnished and I could basically furnish the bedroom if you needed (e.g. bed, drawers and mirror.)
I have all the usual white goods including a washing machine and thinking of getting a tumble dryer. I’m currently in the process of getting Sky+ and broadband sorted so that should be up and running by the time you move in.
The rent is £295 a month plus bills.
