Unfortunately this happens to most guitars over time and they simply need a careful recalibrating. 2. You want to (or have already use(d) thicker or thinner strings on your guitar and the guitar needs careful adjustment to hold the new tension without the neck bending slightly and being out of tune as you move up the neck. I can fit the new gauge strings and set you guitar up to be in tune with them. 3. The action (height of strings) is to high or low and the guitar is difficult to play or buzzes when you play. If you simply lower the strings the intonation will no longer be accurate and the guitar will be out of tune the higher up the neck you play without a careful setup and adjustment to compensate for the new string height. 4. The neck has warped over time and so the truss rod needs adjusting for the guitar to properly be in tune and for the action to be adjusted to your needs. 5. the socket of you guitar has a faulty connection and needs re-wiring. I can correct all of these problems and more or just give your guitar a general Mot.
