Stock people needed to work with up to 160 large animals (horses, donkeys, cattle and pigs) at an Animal Sanctuary not far from Norwich. Duties include:

• Preparing feed
• Feeding animals
• Mucking out shelters and enclosures
• General maintenance

Heavy lifting of up to 20kg may be required. The work is very manual and you will be outdoors most of the time. 40 hours a week including every other weekend. The position is initially temporary.

Requirements:
• Own transport will be required to access the sanctuary as it is in a rural location.
• Safety boots required.
• Previous experience working with large animals highly desirable
• Sympathetic and caring attitude towards animals who have been neglected and/or abused

Please note this is not primarily an animal care position as there are dedicated staff for this.

Salary £5.52 per hour (under 21) / £6.00 per hour (21 and over).
