Technical Manager – Norwich.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an established Norwich based organisation as a Technical Support Manager / ICT manager.

You will be responsible for managing all the internal support, data supply to customers, servers, networks, disaster recovery, stock control, hardware/software and communications infrastructure of the company, ensuring all IT systems and processes meet the demands of the company. All candidates must have excellent communication skills, customer support and service delivery experience.

Candidates must have experience of managing small teams, projects, budgets, processes, maintenance of servers/networks, Windows Operating Platforms, Outlook and exchange server.

Knowledge of CRM, Goldmine, Crystal Reports, Windows/UNIX Operating platforms, Java, C#, VB and .NET development languages is desired.

Key tasks involve:
• Managing IT communications with users and management.
• Managing all aspects of the IT infrastructure including Applications, Networks, Servers and Storage.
• Directing projects, funding, staffing and production releases.
• Negotiating with IT vendors for products and services.
• Managing Budgets and full life cycle of internal projects.

You will need to be experienced in fault finding of software and hardware with a strong background in IT project management.

It is essential that all candidates have first class communication skills – written and verbal, management, delivering projects, managing a small team, time management, client care skills, well organised, show initiative, work to strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
