One day beginners' workshop in Irish folk drumming with one of the country's leading players/makers and teachers of this beautiful hand drum. Aimed at beginners and those that need a refresher course this workshop will lead you through all the basic techniques required to play jigs, reels and other rhythms at your local folk music session as well as giving you a grounding in basic percussion skills. Drums will be available for use during workshop as will tea and coffee. Please bring lunch to share. Workshop takes place at Inner Space, a lovely warm and friendly place in the centre of Norwich in Maude Grey Court, St Benedicts street on Sunday 22nd of November between 10am and 4.30pm.
