Norwich guys seeking girls
please restore my faith in female humanity (in Norfolk, anyway) Age: 26
I'm awful at describing myself. Which is never a good start for an ad in the dating section, is it? But here goes.
I'm 26, 5'10, a little overweight but working on it, and in need of a decent girl. Or woman. I don't know, anywhere between 18 and 30ish? I'm not into mind games or needless drama. I'm laid back, honest, knowledgeable, helpful, dorky, opinionated, sarcastic, quirky, and even quite sweet in my own unique way (so people tell me!). I'm also a bit lonely, it's been a couple of years since my last serious relationship. I miss having someone special in my life to share things with, someone to get excited with and have serious or not-so-serious debates with, someone to see the world with. Sadly I'm not the type to go out 'on the pull' (the very idea repulses me, to be honest), so I figured I'd try my luck here.
I like these things and many more:
-music (playing instruments, road trips to gigs, mix tapes, old records, obscure bands)
-films (especially ones that make you think and/or laugh and/or cry)
-technology (Twitter, Nintendo DS, Apple Macs, old Nintendo consoles, any vintage electronics/gadgets in general)
-books
-walking in the woods
-smoking 'funny cigarettes'
-laughing (at things like Seinfeld, Father Ted, The Simpsons, Peep Show)
-cooking
-ghosts, UFOs, conspiracy theories, assorted other craziness
-quiet little pubs with good jukeboxes
-late night MSN chats
-sharing a comfortable silence
-wearing cardigans
-a nice cup of tea
-fixing and making stuff
-giving and receiving hugs
Don't really have a 'type' when it comes to the opposite sex, other than someone who's got a fair bit in common with me. Hopefully you can tell what that might be from what I've already written. I like creative, passionate (by that I mean dedicated to something or somethings, not just in the bedroom, though that does help), geeky girls, who care about more than just shoes or makeup or Big Brother. (sorry if I'm generalising here ladies)
I think I'm a nice guy. It'd just be nice to break the stereotype and not finish last for once. So, if I sound like the kind of person you'd like to be friends with, or possibly even mutually exchange bodily fluids with at a later date, why not say hi?
If you've got this far.. thanks for reading ;)
P.S. the photo isn't me, but if you know which film it's from, and enjoy said film, we could be off to a good start..
