Manager Food and Bevarage Department
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To effectively control, co-ordinate and plan the activities of the unit to laid down standards of procedure (Service Standards) to maintain high guest satisfaction levels through service and value for money (Caring Behaviour) and to achieve budgeted financial targets (Selling Techniques).
To maximise on the business potential of the department through a well-trained highly motivated and efficient team of staff who all consistently perform the techniques of Service that Sells.

MINIMAL EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Formal Catering Qualification – BTEC/Degree
HCIMA Member - an advantage
Group Trainer Skills
Intermediate Food Hygiene
HND/OND or equivalent
Intermediate Health & Safety
Group Trainer
1:1 Trainer
NVQ assessor
Computer Skills
MINIMUM PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
5 years Catering/Bar Management experience of which
3 years at Assistant Management level and
2 years as Department Manager

Quality Control/Guest Liaisons
General Management
