Hope you are all well and ready for a dam good drink?

As I think most of you are aware Pete has finally given in to the pressures of modern day life and has decided to bite the bullet and quote “get it over and done with” and get married this October.

But before the wedding day it is tradition to get completely rat arsed and experience great highs and lows as your best mates give you encouragement and support for your big day ahead and your not so good mates tell you ‘don’t do it!’ ‘you must be mad’ and try and talk you out of it...or is that the job of the desk sergeant !??!? – And this my friends is called a stag weekend.

Unfortunately good old Pete has not got a current passport and therefore not allowing us Norfolk folk to leave the fine county of Norfolk! – Also with people’s busy schedules and Gordon Browns fuck up’s making money tighter than ever before maybe it is for the best?

So the plan...


FRIDAY September 11th 2009 (The civilised day)

Karting Mini Grand Prix (WE NEED A MINIMUM OF 9 PEOPLE)

Mini Grand prix sprint racing is fast and challenging for individual drivers, with each heat result working towards your final grid start position. From the moment the race starts from a standstill with up to 15 other karts all racing for the first corner really challenges your race craft of steering your kart past other drivers until you pass the chequered flag.
Each driver has a safety brief, practice session, three heats and a final. Points from your finish position in the heats are added up to decide your start position in the grand final. This is ideal for smaller parties and corporate entertainment.
Each driver has a practice session before the race commences to get use to their kart and the track conditions, the heats are worked out so each driver has a front middle and rear start position. Once the race has started there are TV monitors displaying how the race is progressing as well as where individual drivers are placed. At the end of the race each driver will receive a print out showing every lap they have completed and finish position. A prize giving on our podium will take place after, with the top three receiving trophies and the winner a bottle of champagne to celebrate in true Formula 1 style.
The karts used will be our Biz kart twin engine Honda GX 160cc. Every person will receive a safety briefing and safety clothing and equipment to race.

SATURDAY September 12th 2009 (Drinking Boots on)

Meeting at (to be confirmed) for a late full English breakfast and a PINT a much needed meal before the drinking commences.

We will then start on the bar crawl in true Stag tradition sporting limited edition ‘PETE DINGLE’ t-shirts (place your order early) where we will see how many pubs and bars we can make.

I know Pete has always wanted to have a pint in every pub in Norwich, I don’t think we will quite make it but we will give it a dam good try.



So if you could all get back to me ASAP (5 days max) and confirm your attendance for hopefully the Friday and Saturday, but if not which ever day you are attending as I urgently need to book numbers for these events and order t shirts.

Please also invite all others that you think would want to come and join Pete in his pre wedding celebrations as lots of us have either lost contact over the years, have no latest contact details and there is also allot of Pete’s friends that I don’t know and would ask you all to help me out with.
