I am a final year medic with a house. I live here with my wife and 2 dogs. If you are looking to live in private accommodation but don't want the hassle of searching for private accommodation, having credit searches (£150!), massive deposits and also the fact many 'private' letting agents stay clear of students (even matures) so the student houses tend to be utter dives and massively overpriced, trust me I've been there. So here is the vital stats:

Pets / Families welcome

Hall – entrance hall to hang coats etc.
Lounge – large lounge, recently repainted and re-carpeted, new fire installed, cable internet access point (20mb!)
Kitchen/diner - recently refitted with modern units and a black granite effect worktop. New flooring repainted and retiled to a high standard.
Bathroom – recently refitted, shower installed over bath, new tiles, new flooring
Master Bedroom – Large double bedroom, recently repainted and new flooring.
2nd Bedroom - Large double bedroom, recently repainted and new flooring
Extras – Double glazing throughout, brand new boiler and heating system fitted
Outside – Gardens front and back laid to lawn with small area of decking at the rear.
Parking – Off road parking at rear, on road parking in front of house (no permit required as is the case with many properties in the golden triangle)

I am not a fussy landlord that will be checking in every 5 minutes. Also very open minded, I've done the rented accommodation route myself.

There is a wooded area (30 - 40min walk to get round it in the morning) behind the house where I currently walk my dogs (if you have any).

Transport
Bus - Excellent transport links bus stop 10 seconds away.
Car - You can take a shortcut via bowthorpe to get to NNUH and university in the morning if you have a car. Takes about 8 minutes to get to either.
Bike - Takes me 12 minutes to cycle into uni in the morning.

Shops
5 minutes from Sainsburys.

There is the option to have it furnished or unfurnished, you decide. Price per month £600.
