Fancy Volunteering in a Graveyard
Fancy spending a Saturday in one of Norwich's Historic Graveyards? Not a question you hear every day - but this August, ReFresh along with the Norwich Historic Churches Trust are inviting you to do just that ... on 22nd August.
ReFresh is looking for 16-25 year olds, who are willing to get their hands dirty for a good cause. NHCT are planning a day of action to help maintain and record our history.
On Saturday August 22nd between 11am-3pm, we will be mapping the graveyard of St Ethelreda, recording the inscriptions on the gravestones and plotting them on a map for future generations.
ReFresh days are a great way to meet new people, learn more about the historic buildings in your city and feel like you're giving something back to the community.
Where? St Etheldreda – Maintained by the Friends of Norwich Historic Churches Trust.
Western end of King Street, Norwich.
Get involved and help preserve our history!
