As Value for Money Accountant for this significant government body, you will play a key role in the delivery of improved value for money for the organisation.  We would expect candidates to be fully or part qualified accountants.  The post will be based in Wymondham, Norfolk.  In detail, you will:
Appraise the annual Use of Resources Evaluation requirements, including any supporting evidence, to assess whether the constabulary meets the required standards
 
Identify and address those areas in the Evaluation where the organisation fails to meet the required standards
  
Undertake financial analysis of performance and benchmark the results against other organisations
 
Assist in the delivery of the value for money strategy and efficiency and productivity strategy and targets
 
Establish value for money indicators that will target resources and aim to demonstrate continuous improvement in all areas of business
 
Undertake value for money reviews in specific areas of the budget in order to identify greater efficiencies and cost savings
 
Be responsible for the analysis of income received and for providing accountancy support for income generation activities
