In a darkened land of sorcery where daylight was not seen
Where freaks and ghouls and witchcraft ruled by an evil King and Queen
With black magic and sorcery they spread fear across the land
The evil King and Queen reigned with terror hand in hand
The King he was a demon the Queen she was a witch
The freaks and ghouls obeyed there rules there souls the Queen had stripped
In a castle on a hill is where they did reside
Their subjects lived in fear in the land of terrified

This land was once so sunshine blessed this land was once a dream
But then a witch and demon betrayed and slayed the King and Queen
With wickedness and witchcraft they put a spell on everyone
And cast the land in darkness so no one could see the sun
In the castle where they lived a dungeon down below
Was where they kept the former Princess she was pure as driven snow
This beautiful Princess was in reality the Queen
Imprisoned in a dungeon her whole existence a bad dream

Cold and damp and hungry she could sense rats by her side
Terrified she cried and cried her hope had all but died
She’d fold her hands and pray in the hope someone would hear
Would a knight in shining armour answer to her prayer
In a distant forest from a deep sleep he did wake
He saw nothing but darkness but beside him felt a snake
The snake got closer to him and he whispered in his ear
My friend I have watched over you, you have nothing to fear

I am no ordinary snake for magic I possess
My wizardry I give to you now you are truly blessed
The sleeping mortal man had become an immortal knight
To fight the powers of darkness and to bring eternal light
The snake told him the story of the real King and Queen
Who were betrayed and slayed by evil that before had been unseen
By a Demon and a Witch who ruled with terror across the land
And an army of freaks and ghouls who obeyed every command

How they stopped the Sun from shining how they cast away the light
And brought eternal darkness now the days were dark as night
Of the castle where they ruled and the dungeon deep inside
And the beautiful Princess whose hope had all but died
Out of the distant forest came the Knight with all his power
With his wizardry and magic to be the hero of the hour
An army of freaks and ghouls were sent to battle with the Knight
But his wizardry and magic dispersed the darkness with sunlight

The light restored the souls of the army of freaks and ghouls
Restored to normal men they were now no longer ruled
By the demon King and wicked Queen who’d lost their evil power
The Knight then slayed them both to be the hero of the hour
He then rescued the Princess the rats turned into doves
The dark replaced with sunshine the fear replaced with love
The Knight was now the King the Princess now the Queen
Hand in hand they ruled the land the sunshine of all dreams
