This is a discontinued model that is perfectly useable and would probably be ideal for a newcomer to digital photography.

This model camera takes pictures at a resolution of 3.1 million pixel (2976 x 2232 pixels [high] or 2048 x 1536 pixels [normal] resolution), and has a 4.0 x Digital Zoom capability. It can also record video at 15 frames/second.

Built in features are a 1.5 Inch Color Monitor, internal Flash (on/auto/off), Self-Timer, USB interface to connect to a PC, TV-out to connect to TV to display your pictures, and 8 Mb internal memory. It takes Secure Digital / MultiMedia Cards to store more pictures and runs on two standard AA batteries.

Measurements are 50 (h) x 110 (w) x28 (d) mm., 150.0 grams.
